鈥楪reythorn Primary School is an ambitious and inclusive school鈥� Ofsted 2024

Ofsted say Greythorn Primary School in West Bridgford is a Good school following their latest inspection.

Inspectors described the school as, 鈥榓mbitious and inclusive鈥�, and that, 鈥楾he school celebrates and values its diverse community. Pupils are happy. They feel safe and well cared for. One pupil stated: 鈥楾eachers always push us to be the best we can be. If you ever feel down or sad, the adults here will always listen to you and help you.鈥欌��

The report praises the school鈥檚 curriculum which includes 鈥榢nowledge and skills that go beyond the expectations of the national curriculum鈥� and where 鈥楲eaders have high expectations that all pupils will achieve well and make great progress.鈥� The maths curriculum is described as ambitious and where children achieve well.

The school鈥檚 approach to reading is 鈥榟ighly effective鈥� and cites the school鈥檚 use of diverse, high-quality texts. The report also reflects the strong start that the children make in their Reception Year where they have 鈥榬ich opportunities to explore, take learning risks and learn through play.鈥�
