About

Our Partnership

The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»:

Founded in 2012, Flying High is a multi-academy trust of 34 primary schools across Derbyshire, Nottingham City, and Nottinghamshire.

The vision and ethos of our Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» centres on 3 values, unique, exceptional and sustainable. Schools joining our partnership do so to become the best schools they can be and to support others on this journey. Over time we have developed our strategies, systems, processes and capacity to ensure that we are continuously improving; together we make every day count.

Centred on meaningful partnership, our schools focus on collaboration and internal support whilst always remaining outward facing. We all share a common purpose and vision – the key is to ensure our schools retain their uniqueness and ethos that enables them to meet the needs of their communities. We are all in this together and have a collective responsibility to maintain a distinct culture that supports the development of the children across our schools.

At Flying High we believe in the delivery of a school led professional continuum; exceptional teacher training and continuous professional learning (CPL), developing inspirational staff and leaders for our schools.

Flying High Futures

Continuous Professional Learning (CPL):

Flying High Futures is our home of professional learning, personal growth, innovative practice, and collaboration, which provides a one stop shop for all development opportunities for staff and schools across our Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» and beyond. Flying High Futures brings together our Teaching School Hub, English Hub, and Flying High CPL. We also lead the Priority Literacy, which is part of the Priority Education in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire and we are a proud partner of the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Early Years Stronger Practice Hub.

Train to teach with us

Within our teaching school hub we have our Ofsted Outstanding School Centred Initial Teacher Training provision (SCITT), which is delivered proudly in partnership with Inspiring Leaders Teacher Training. The programme is managed and delivered through outstanding leaders and current practitioners to ensure our trainees make a real difference in our schools from day one.
